Bulldog bowlers win fourth straight conference title

The varsity girls bowling team from Richards High School won its fourth consecutive South Suburban Conference championship recently.
The Bulldogs captured four of the 10 All-SSC places. Junior Katie Nowak and seniors Jasmine Dumas, Emily Gesell and Sam Wozniak earned all-conference honors. Coaches Lindsey Gierman and Sarah Przytula led the Bulldogs to records of 12-1 overall record and 8-1 in SSC play.
Other highlights during the regular season included winning first place at the Hinsdale Central Invitational and placing fourth at the 28-team Reavis Invitational. Wozniak won top individual honors at the Reavis meet.
