OAK LAWN EXCELS AT SCIENCE COMPETITION

Oak Lawn Community High Schools Science Competition Team recently competed at the Annual South Suburban Conference (SSC) Science Invitational at Lemont High School.
Several team members received recognition, including Dariusz Hareza, first place in geology/meteorology examination; Kate Fay and Kelly Piecuch, first place in insect identification; Dariusz Hareza, second place in chemistry; Renata Gray and Caitlin Danforth, third place in the science bowl competition. Dariusz Hareza, Kate Fay, and Kelly Piecuch were also recognized with All-Conference accolades.
The SSC includes the following high schools: Argo, Bremen, Eisenhower, Evergreen Park, Hillcrest, Lemont, Oak Forest, Oak Lawn, Reavis, Richards, Shepard, and Tinley Park.
